Passenger Information Display System (PIDS)

The distributed computer system integrating route information is used for disseminating timely train information for passengers. Almost 1,000 PIDS are deployed at the entrances, platforms and concourses in Lantau-Airport Railway (Tung Chung Line + Airport Express), West Rail Line, South Island Line (East) and Light Rail in Hong Kong whereas hundreds of PIDS were installed in Singapore North East Line.
